Its Tea Time! Impress your friends with this special preparation of Black Ceylon Tea. Our delicious flavored Ceylon teas are created from premium leaf, 100% exclusive High Grown Ceylon tea from estates above 5500 ft in elevation. Our Ceylon tea is flavored with 100% All-Natural Flavoring Oils with no chemical residue or after taste.

Some believe that flavoring a tea will mask the characteristics of poor tea. However, our luxury flavored teas are sourced from premium Ethical Tea Partnerships from certified estates and the chemical free processing means that they not only taste great but they are good for the Earth all at the same time.

Question:
Does tea contain caffeine? Yes, unless it is decaffeinated or it is an herbal tea, tea contains caffeine. Generalization comparison: A 6oz cup of tea contains about 34mg of caffeine compared to a 6oz cup of regular coffee contains about 100mg.

Directions:
Hot Water Method: Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 tea bag for each cup into the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea). Even though mild and a dash of sugar or drizzle of honey help enhance the flavor character of tea, it is perfectly acceptable to consume our delicious tea “straight-up”.

Iced Tea-Brewing Method:
(to make 1 quart): Place 6 tea bags in a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Pour 1 & ¼ cups of freshly boiled water over the tea. Steep for 5 minutes (or as desired). Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher. Add ice & top-up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. {A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced tea is to double the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice & diluted with cold water}. Note that tea may tend to go cloudy or “milky” when poured over ice; a perfectly normal characteristic of some high quality black/Ceylon teas and is nothing to worry about!

Sun Tea Method:
In a gallon jar filled with fresh cold water, place 4-8 tea bags, depending on desired strength. Set outside in strong sunlight for about 4 hours. Refrigerate after tea has brewed.
